Every other Tuesday St. Walter Ministers of Care invite Abbington Rehab and Nursing Home residents to participate in a Communion service. On alternating Tuesdays the Pastor or Associate Pastor welcome the residents to partake in the Celebration of the Mass. Because of the weekly visits, the nursing home parishioners know they are not forgotten. Under St. Walter’s Pastoral Care, two to three Abbington Ministers of Care provide this spiritual care every month.
