Young Adults

Our mission is to form a Catholic community of young Joyful Disciples ages 18-39, both married and single, focused on seeking an authentic and deeper relationship with Christ through community, faith formation, and participation in the life of the Church. We hope to empower the young adults to be able to go and make other young adult disciples, and help them also to fully participate in the life of the parish, thereby giving back to parish life.

Youth Ministry

THE VISION OF YOUTH MINISTRY

Youth Ministry is the mission of the Church to reach into the daily lives of young people and show them the presence of God. Youth Ministry provides young people with the opportunities to explore the mission of the Church in order to discern their own personal gifts. It opens doors to opportunities to explore the mission of the Church in order to discern their own personal gifts. It opens doors to opportunities for the use of those gifts within the context of community. Youth Ministry must be liturgically based in Scripture and gospel values that are grounded in the Eucharist celebration of Catholic community.

GOALS OF ST. WALTER YOUTH MINISTRY

To empower young people to live as disciples of Jesus Christ; to draw youth to responsible participation in our faith community's life, mission and work to foster each young persons personal and spiritual growth.
