New Preschool Program with an Extended Day Option

Beginning with the 2019-2020 school term, St. Walter School will offer a three day and five day Preschool Program, an important benefit for child learning and development. The program will also offer coverage for an optional extended day.

At St. Walter School, we are excited about offering the youngest learners with their first school experience in an atmosphere that is engaging and encourages your child’s overall development. Our Early Childhood teachers apply specialized knowledge of child development, families and current methods and practices to plan and implement relevant curriculum that both supports and challenges young children. Our Early Childhood program builds competence in language, literacy, mathematics, and other academic disciplines.

Age Requirement

Children entering any session of the St. Walter School Early Childhood Program (Preschool) must be three or four years of age on or before September 1.

NOTE: All children entering 3-year-old preschool must also be “potty trained” before the first day of school.

3-Year-Old Children:

This program offers both social development and academic program for a positive first school experience. There are two options:

4-Year-Old Children:
This program further assists young learners in achieving developmental milestones preparing them for kindergarten and beyond.
