This Monday, December 10 is our next PADS date at St. Isidore Ministry Center. Please check the sign-up genius website for the volunteer roster. It can be easily accessed by going to the St. Walter website: stwalterchurch.com. Click on PADS.

It is important for each volunteer to check the schedule and arrive on time for their shift. The website has the schedule for the next 3 months. You can volunteer wherever there are openings. Cooks are an important resource for us. The homeless guests often comment on the good dinners and breakfasts we give them.

St. Walter volunteers have been hosting PADS since 1985 and many of them are still with us but are finding it increasingly difficult. We need new people to help with administration, scheduling, phone reminders, shift volunteers and cooks. Please contact any of us for other information. For cooks contact Sue.

Donations we can use: napkins, paper towels, Ziploc lunch bags, Ziploc gallon size bags, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, cereal, toiletries, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and razors. Small individual sizes are preferred where applicable.

We would like to have cell phone numbers for our volunteers so we can send text messages instead of phone calling. Many people prefer being contacted by text. Please call or e-mail us with the information.

We do appreciate all of our volunteers and their generosity to the homeless.

Angel, Karen, Sue
