PARISH POLICY FOR VIDEO TAPING

This policy is to be followed at all weddings in St. Walter Church. The couple getting married should share this information with the person hired to tape your wedding video.

One video person is permitted to video as long as the do not enter the sanctuary area during the ceremony. Pictures from the side aisles, balcony or rear of the church building are permitted provided the video camera remains in a fixed location.

No microphone wires are permitted to be taped on the floors, or in the sanctuary.

At no time should the video taping process be a distraction to the priest, wedding party, musician or congregation. There is no standing on the pews or other furniture, nor is any furniture to be moved. Please have your videographer consult with the parish wedding coordinator or the priest before the wedding for any further instructions.

After the wedding is over, the church may be used for more video shots. All taping must be completed by 1:30 p.m., following a 12:00 noon wedding and by 4:00 p.m. following a 2:30 p.m. wedding.
