| | | | RCIA Rite of Welcoming Celebrated
Sunday, October 14, 2007 On Sunday, October 14th we celebrated the Rite of Welcoming at the 10:30 Mass. The rite of welcoming or (Acceptance into the Order of Catechumens) is the first public rite that we celebrate in RCIA. Over the past few months we have gathered with those inquiring into the Catholic faith. During this important rite those who were inquiring
publicly declared their intention to continue their journey toward full initation in the Catholic Church. The community of St. Walter now accepts them and offers its support and witness during this journey. |
